International racers welcome.
A shuttle bus for racers and an accompanying truck for bikes will be available on the morning of the race at the Squamish Adventure Centre. Racers will be able to park their vehicles across from the Adventure Centre, or at Squamish Elementary School which is just across the highway.
Shuttles will begin at 8:45 am and the final shuttle will leave at 10:15 am from the Squamish Adventure Centre. We are placing a lot of emphasis for racers to take advantage of the early shuttle times as we are not doing any form of reservations. Many racers wait until the last minute expecting a ride, this has caused a delay in the race start time. Therefore the decision has been made to cut off the courtesy shuttle service at 10:15am. This is to allow racers who do not make a shuttle, ample time to get to the start line. Guarantee yourself a ride by hopping on an early shuttle; otherwise, you may have an unexpected warm-up ride to the start line.
PARKING IS FREE in the Alice Lake Park area. There is NO PARKING on Alice Lake Park Road, only in designated parking areas, where it is FREE to park. However, as this is a point to point race, racers are encouraged to either arrange a DROP OFF or park downtown at Squamish Elementary School and take advantage of the shuttle bus from the Adventure Centre.
LIMITED WATER : There will be limited water available at the start line area. Please fill your water containers before boarding shuttle.
There are two drink stations on this year’s GearJammer course. The first is not readily available to racer support persons, but the second is in the Power House area just after the Plunge and just before Farside. A great spot to stand and cheer the riders. Check Course Maps for directions.
