MMX Pre-Test Party!

Back again, to test your festival commitment. Get out and have fun at the Test of Metal Pre-TEST. Head downtown Squamish where the real action will be!
As you may know the Test of Metal is now getting back to its roots at becoming a festival. The Pre-Test is a myriad of fun activities to welcome racers and get the town involved in this amazing event. Last year we had over 400 people downtown enjoying the street party.
Sign up for all events (except the cruiser ride) at the registration table located on Cleveland Ave, Downtown Squamish. Look for the sign that says Pre-Test Registration.
Here is a list of all that we have to offer for Friday June 18th:
RIDE SHOW N SHINE SLOW RIDE - 3:30 to 4:30 pm. This event starts at Republic Bicycles and The Red Bench where there will be food and drink and prizes - RIDE DOWNTOWN @ 5:00 pm - Meeting spots along the way. More info at the Republic website. Waivers can be signed at Republic. Sponsored by Republic Bicycles.

• FUNNY RACES - 6:00 pm. Make a team of four, each of you rides your little hearts out on a funny bike while trying to to pedal your way into braggin books. Thanks to Recycle Bicycle for the use of the kids bikes! Kids and Adult races - prizes for best in show.
• BIKE POKER - 6:30 pm. Back by popular demand. Do you have room for Lady Luck on your bike? Well, good! You will have three to five rounds of exciting poker, riding to various dealers around town, to come back to the dealer and show your hand. Best hand wins. Excellent prizes! Kids event starts at 6:30. Adults play at 6:40.
• CHEESY OLYMPICS - Cheese roll, bike and obstacle course for kids and adults.
• BEST IN TOWN - Is your bike the best in town? SIGN IT UP! Also we have Hevy Huups, bike limbo and high kick contests, all night until 9:00 pm.
• KIDS ZONE - Bouncy things, mini obstacle courses and mini trials area for bikes.
• DJ/BANDS - Tommy Honest and the Liars performing from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. One more Band TBA. Come and check out some of Squamish's best talent.
• NEW THIS YEAR---SATURDAY JUNE 19th--POST-TEST the AFTER PARTY at the Brew Pub with Brand New Waves and DJ Evolve. Unwind, grab a beer and dance till the wee hours...then get up and watch the Rock Star.
