Test of Metal Trail Days |

Earn a Test of Metal entry and good karma at the same time by turning up for a Test of Metal trail maintenance day. The legendary 67 kilometer course needs to be buffed in preparation for the big race. Trail guru Chris McCrum has posted planned trail days as follow:
TOM trail days
Sunday April 13th, Rob's and Cliff's corners. meet at 9 am at Stump lake Parking lot.
Sunday April 20th, Rollercoaster, meet at 9 am at the top of Perth drive.
Sunday May 25th, Plunge, meet at 9 am at Apron (Climbers) Parking lot, base of the Chief.
Sunday June 8th, Rake the Rip, meet at 9 am at Darwin's Bridge access road off Ring ck FSR
Must attend at least 3 of 4 days for an entry, and stay for the duration of the trail day (no showing up for 1 hour)
Bring:
Hiking boots or work boots, grubby clothes, work gloves, lunch, water, raingear and a hat if needed.
Expect:
at least 6 hours of hard physical labour in the forest! It's fun and very rewarding!
