We invite you to join the Test of Metal Course Protection Initiative (TMCPI). Our aim is to preserve the course of the Test of Metal. In conjunction with Tourism Squamish, we are asking you to write a letter or email expressing your support for the Test of Metal Sports Park. Your commitment will add weight behind the idea as we approach different levels of government and various land owners.

Add Your Thoughts to Why the Test of Metal Course Protection Initiative is Important

The Test of Metal Course Protection Initiative has two objectives:

  • To protect the Test of Metal course for the long term so that our children and grand children will be able to enjoy the tails and the event that we all hold so precious today.
  • To create the Test of Metal Sports Park, a Canadian first, to have a linear sports park winding through our community.  This will provide an extra level of protection to one of Squamish's two premium sports events.
