A friend got me started in 2003. This year I'm doing the BC Bike Race and the TransRockies. The Test of Metal is the "gateway drug" of marathon mountain biking.

5 times (every year since 2003)
What did you learn from your last test experience?
Don't pick up two 8 lb anvils and keep your mouth shut while riding through mud.
What are you looking forward to the most?
Bonk Hill and Crumpit Woods
What are you dreading the most?
Anvils and campylobacter

Hiding from anvils and keeping my mouth shut.

Give my 3 1/2 month-old daughter a big kiss.
