Friday Night Pre-Test Party!

The Pre-Test party is traditionally held Friday Night before the Test of Metal. Below are the events as listed in 2011. We'll be posting our even more awesome 2012 event listings in May. Yayyyyyyyy ....

We have a number of events and activities planned, so make sure to sign up at the Registration Table , located on Cleveland Ave, downtown. Look for the sign Pre-Test Registration. Children under 18 must have waiver signed by parents. Helmets are required for all bike events.

SLOW RIDE SHOW & SHINE
The Show and Shine will kick the night off with a bang. Jump on your favourite non-motorized two wheel vehicle and join the convoy heading from downtown.

Meet at Republic Bikes and Bean Brackendale between 4:00 - 4:30. From here we will all ride our bikes for refreshments at The Cup @ 5:00 pm. Then continue on to downtown. Get on your bikes and ride!

MORE FUN DOWNTOWN SQUAMISH

Bike decorating with Michelle from MishMash Play & Learn
Bring your bikes and get them all fancied up with Michelle and her bike decorating expertise. Show Squamish how talented you are, the sky is the limit!

Kid Zone
Party Perfect will be on hand with two bouncers and two face painters! Let the kids get all painted up and then take turns enjoying the various bouncy activities.

Mini-Trials
Lisa Dickson is new on the scene this year with her mini trials set up. Have fun learning how to balance your bicycles on and over obstacles.

Hoop Hoop Hoop
Allan will be front and centre with all of his hula hoops. See how many times around you can go.

MAIN EVENTS

Funny Races: 6-6:30 pm. Make a team of four, each person riding as hard as they can on a funny bike to try to win for their team. Winning heats will race against each other for a final winner of a great prize!

Carolyn Grass: 6:30-7:30 pm Carolyn Grass will be performing a family concert event geared towards the kids. Get set to sing and dance and be silly.

Uni-Cycle Demo: Come and see some local Squamish youths perform on their uni-cycles. These guys can ride trails and jump down stairs with the best of them, on one wheel!

Tessa: 7:45-8:45 pm Enjoy the electric beats of Tessa’s mixed music, with her enchanting voice and guitar accompaniment. A show you and your kids can boogie down to together.

Bike Limbo: 7:30-8 pm How low can you go…. While riding your bike??? That’s right this is limbo on your bike. Kids will start first and then we will give the parents a go. Prizes for contestants

Best in Show: 8:45-9 pm Once again Mr. Brian Raiser will be our esteemed judge for the best in show. If you think you have put your heart and soul into you baby (that being your bike), then come out and show it off. Prizes awarded.

Sign up for all events (except the cruiser ride) at the registration table located on Cleveland Ave, Downtown Squamish. Look for the sign that says Pre-Test Registration.
