RECOVERY
This is very important. We do not subscribe to the training world that
follows the thought of "More is better." Rather, rest is best.
When youre tired, take it easy. Listen to your body. How do you
know how much is too much? The way I gauge this is by taking my heart
rate every morning before I get out of bed. It's simple - put a finger
on your wrist count the beats for 10 seconds, multiply that number by
6 and then write it down. Do this every day without fail. When your body
is tired from yesterdays workout your heart rate will be higher
by 10-15 beats, and that means take it easy. Give yourself rest days as
well. More training is not necessarily better.
